Full-Stack Developer

From January 2023 to Currently at Distributed DeFi Team

Recruited by the creator of an innovative decentralized yield aggregation platform on the Binance Smart Chain to assist in launching a series of frontend-critical features on a tight deadline. Working with a diverse, distributed team of industry-leading Web3 developers who specialize in Solidity, React, and Game Development, I contribute to the platform's success by leading the React codebase and providing valuable insights as both a developer and consultant for the Frontend & DevOps teams.

Frontend Developer

From April 2022 to April 2023 at Practice Genius

Helped lead the migration and decoupling of a legacy Kohana & React codebase to a more modern Next.js & Laravel stack. Lead the frontend development of several features and third-party service integrations; one of which features included a Wheel of Fortune style rewards raffle. Due to the complexity of the stack migration and time-sensitive nature, all features were required to have fully automated end-to-end test coverage utilizing Cypress and GitHub Actions to help minimize potential for regressions. All features were required to have an appropriate amount of type safety and adhere to coding standards.

Full-Stack Developer

From October 2017 to April 2022 at High Touch Technologies

Successfully built a robust end-to-end automated testing suite utilizing a Java (Spring) & React tech stack to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our product features. Developed the product's admin portal written in React with Redux state management; I prioritized user-friendly experience, often collaborating with actual product users in order to ensure seamless day-to-day operations for restaurant staff. Designed and built an industry innovative drag-and-drop restaurant menu management feature. Inherited a React Native mobile codebase built with Flow and Ramda. I successfully migrated the mobile codebase to Typescript and OOP, enhancing adaptability and onboarding. Managed CI/CD build processes for web and mobile codebases. Additionally, I managed intricate payment processing integrations with industry leaders like WorldPay, MerchantLink, and OpenEdge.
